You should take steps to protect against unauthorized access to your password, phone, and computer by, among other things, signing off after using a shared computer, choosing a robust password that nobody else knows or can easily guess, backing up your emails, and keeping your log-in and password private. We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or compromised profiles, dashboards, emails, usernames, passwords or for any activity on your account via unauthorized password activity.
We retain Personal Information about you for as long as you have an open account with us or as otherwise necessary to provide you with our Services. In some cases we retain Personal Information for longer, if doing so is necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes or collect fees owed, or is otherwise permitted or required by applicable law, rule or regulation. We may further retain information in an anonymous or aggregated form where that information would not identify you personally. When it is no longer necessary to retain your Personal Information, we will delete or anonymize it.
Daycare Spots is committed to protecting the privacy needs of children, and we encourage parents and guardians to take an active role in their children’s online activities and interests. We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act). None of our Services, the Site or the mobile application, are directed to children under 13 years old, and we do not market to or knowingly collect any Personally Identifiable information from a child under the age of 13 without the consent of the child’s parent or legal guardian. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with personal or contact information without their consent, the parent or guardian should contact us immediately. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personally identifiable information from a child under the age of 13, we will immediately take reasonable steps to delete such information from our Site or Services.
